Overactive Bladder, also known as incontinence, is a condition in which you are unable to control your bladder and hence you need to urinate often. This may also result in involuntary loss of urine triggered by very usual activities like coughing, sneezing or even laughing.

6. Cornsilk is also a useful home remedy for overactive bladder. Consuming 2g of cornsilk a day can help in bringing down incontinence. It is also said to help in reducing weight.

7. Increase the intake of magnesium in your diet. Consuming 200-600 mg of magnesium citrate can serve as an effective home remedy for overactive bladder. Deficiency of Magnesium in diet can lead to muscle spasms in the whole body which is one of the reasons for overactive bladder.

There are some other herbs like cleavers, saw palmetto, horsetail etc which are also known for treating overactive bladder. Try these at home for soothing your condition of overactive bladder.
