I took 50,000 IU weekly for 12 weeks under a physician’s care. I had severe side effect such as, vertigo,ringing in ears,falling down, excessive bruising, severe muscle pain. I was told to talk to a pharmacist, who said I could be at toxic levels and that I “should have had monitoring done during treatment”. My point is that it can happen, and sometimes physicians are unaware of what protocol is to keep tabs. I have since developed heart dysfunction, and wonder if this could have contributed to it.
